Sophia Quintero

Sophia Quintero is a rising Mexican - Honduran actress born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She prides herself in being a part of the Latin(x) community and hopes to bring more representation into the performing arts.  She is a proud recent recipient of the  2024 CETA BIPOC scholarship.​

Her first acting class was through Inner City Arts in 2021. Since then, she has been involved in a handful of theatre productions. Her work includes being an ensemble member in Calagari's Cabinet of Curiosities, a world premier musical, and Polly Kenton in The Insanity of Mary Girard. Along with playing the role of Laura Wingfield in a student directed version of The Glass Menagerie. She was also involved in a student devised production with the Latino Theatre Company at the Los Angeles Theatre Center in the summer of 2023. She is currently attending the University of California, San Diego to continue her study of theatre.
